WEED + FEED

Garden Workday & Community Potluck

Friday, September 25 | 10-2 garden work & 2-4 community potluck meal

Get your hands in the dirt this weekend and celebrate the fall raspberry harvest! Join us at Long Branch Environmental Education Center for an afternoon of garden care and community connection.

We'll start the day by weeding and tending to our raspberries and annual garden beds. After our hands-on work, we invite everyone to relax and share a delicious community potluck—a celebration of our collective effort and the Earth we steward. Hopefully, there will be many delicious raspberries to harvest and eat <3

What to Bring:

  • A water bottle

  • Gardening gloves (if you have them)

  • Long sleeve shirt and long pants (raspberry plants are thorny)

  • A dish to share

  • Friends, family, and a spirit of community!

All ages and experience levels welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious, this is a great way to connect with people, plants, and purpose.

Hosted by Long Branch Environmental Education Center
