Every third Thursday this summer, we’re hosting a special event to cool off from the summer heat, combining the soothing practice of yin yoga with the comfort of a community potluck.
The evening begins with a grounding yin yoga class, where long-held, passive poses will guide you into deep relaxation and connection with your inner stillness. Yin yoga focuses on stretching the deeper connective tissues and cultivating a sense of calm. Together, we’ll center around themes of rest, pause, and patience to balance out the yang energies of the summer season.
After the yoga session, stay to enjoy the “yum” of a community potluck! Share a favorite dish and gather with others to celebrate the joy of nourishment—both physical and emotional—as we come together to build connections and foster closeness on these warm summer nights.
All are welcome, whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. Bring your mat, your favorite dish to share, and a friend for an evening of mindfulness, delicious food, and meaningful community.
Please arrive by 5:45 to get settled in to your spot for yoga. The session will begin promptly at 6pm, followed by the potluck at 7pm.
